Dr. Gerry Flynn graduated in Medicine from Edinburgh University in Scotland in 1982. He passed the examinations to become a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1985 and was elected a Fellow in 1999. He also has formal qualifications in mind-body medicine and has been interested in how the mind influences the body since the 1970s and 1980s when he played International water polo whilst studying Medicine at Edinburgh University. He works as a physician in general and cardiac practices on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, where until recently he also managed a successful weight loss program targeted at reducing the risk of heart disease, diabetes and stroke. He has counselled numerous executives from a wide variety of fields, in the application of mind science in enhancing performance.

Dr. Flynn has presented his research at international medical conferences and conducted seminars in Scotland, Dubai, Japan, Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast and has written and produced several audio programs addressing the topic of mind power in successful performance enhancement, as well as in the management of medical problems.
Dr. Flynn is married and is father of three. A former member of the Scottish national water polo team (for 6 years) he still plays the sport regularly on the Gold Coast where he also coaches representative school teams.
